Hello :3

As Catface Studios I want to share my art and variety of interests with others! I dabble in multiple styles and art mediums both digitally and physically. I like to see my ideas come to life and to see creations bring others as much joy as it gives me to make them.

 

Art and Inspiration

One of my main drawing styles include my hand drawn digital art which is typically used for my koi fish art and my character art. My interest in drawing fish started from drawing and painting fish as presents for my brother and mom who happen to like fish. While my character drawing comes from a mix of beloved media I’ve consumed and my love to draw, design and create characters myself.

Pixel art was first introduced to me by my best friend who is also an artist. After trying it for the first time, I found I liked how much easier it was for me to do art in a style without lineart for once. Ever since I’ve continued to practice and improve which is used for both magical scenes and mini characters. I’ve also used it for game art before but I also hope that people will see pixel art can also be admired just as art and not only as a game medium.

Both my crochet and Jewelry making are more recent interests that I hope to continue to master the more practice I get.

The Catface

I’ve always liked cats and it even ended up being my thing and used to (and still do) draw catfaces everywhere whenever I have paper and a pen. My friends and family got used to randomly seeing catfaces on whiteboards, random scraps of paper or on the corner of their notebook. It eventually was a sign that I was there so it seemed fitting to make it a part of my brand. As a part of this I sometimes sneak catfaces in my drawings :3 (something to look out for).

Purple

I don’t remember when purple ended up becoming my favorite colour but it has been for quite a while and I have quite a few purple things. It also became a thing that my family and friends began to associate with me. I hope others who like purple can enjoy the magical colour too.

Future Creations

I’ve got a long line of future product ideas such as shaker charms and mouse pads. I plan to work on some digital products as well as video games in the future. I’ve also been working on starting a comic though these are much longer, expensive and arduous projects in the making. However I’d love to begin sharing more of these kinds of projects as I love creating and sharing stories.
